Job Description

Role: Head of Engineering
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary: £90K -£120K + Benefits

CTI is seeking to appoint a head of engineering for an exciting scaleup.

Requirements:

– 9+ years backend engineering with 6+ years in leadership roles
– Lead over 20 backend engineers including devops
– Extensive mentoring experience
– A good understanding of architecture patterns
– Expertise with AWS eco-system
– IAM and Networking knowledge including VPC, subnets, and gateways
– Tech Stack: Dynamo DB or similar, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Go, Python, Linux CLI, Redis, Elastic
– Mobile – IOS/Android will be considered favourable
– Implementing best practises in operational management to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
– Continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to refine processes and enhance overall performance.
