Role: Python Developer

Type: Full-Time

Location: Onsite – Glasgow

CTI has opportunity has arisen for a Python Developer to join a dynamic UK-based technology company. The ideal candidate will be entering this organisation during its initial stages of expansion, making it essential for us to find individuals who possess the skills and passion to contribute to a business that is just beginning to leverage cutting-edge technologies.

Essential Skills:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

– Proficiency in creating top-notch, scalable, and easily maintainable code

– Thorough knowledge of MVC architecture and SOLID principles

– Exceptional skills in writing testable code and following testing best practices

– Extensive background in Python 3 and Django framework (minimum 3 years)

– Hands-on experience in deploying web applications end-to-end

– Familiarity with communication protocols, particularly REST and GraphQL

– Proficient in Django ORM and migrations

– Skilled in utilizing code versioning tools and automated deployment pipelines

– Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices

Desirable Skills:

– Expertise in financial services, specifically related to securities trading.

– Proficient in real-time systems and publish/subscribe architecture.

– Familiarity with cloud computing services, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
